Job Description:
This Site RBS Leader Senior (Continuous Improvement) position
will play a critical role in driving a culture of continuous
improvement and operational excellence within Regal Rexnord.This
individual will serve as a Continuous Improvement (CI) leader and
coach to the Industrial Powertrain Solutions (IPS) Commercial,
Sales and Marketing leaders and their teams with oversight on the
implementation and integration of the Regal Rexnord Business
Management System (RBS). This individual will provide broad,
in-depth Cl expertise in order to achieve strategic and operational
performance objectives to reach business goals.This position has
high visibility with the leadership team and reports directly to
the CI Manager in Commercial Excellence. Major
Responsibilities:
- Support Policy Deployment activities: Supporting the
development of short- and long-term strategies incorporating RBS
practices to facilitate progress and achieve strategic
objectives.
- Problem Solving: Promotes a hands-on problem-solving culture at
all levels of the organization by coaching leaders and teams to
solve unique and complex challenges that have a significant impact
on their business unit.
- People Development: Facilitate in-person or virtual Leadership
Development and RBS CI "tool champion" workshops in a professional,
organized manner that clearly demonstrates the Regal Rexnord
mission and values.
- Leads Lean Initiatives: Develops and executes strategies for
implementing RBS Lean principles across various departments or
functions within Regal Rexnord.
- Process Improvement: Assist in identifying areas of
inefficiency and waste within existing processes and workflows, and
lead initiatives to streamline operations and improve overall
productivity.
- Data Analysis: Assist in the analyzing of data and metrics to
identify trends, root causes of problems, and opportunities for
improvement.
- Kaizen Events: Facilitate and participate in Kaizen events or
continuous improvement workshops to drive rapid improvement in
specific areas or processes.
- Training and Coaching: Develop and provide training and
coaching to leaders and associates at all levels on RBS Lean
principles, tools, and methodologies to foster a culture of
continuous improvement.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with
cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities across
the Value Stream, implement countermeasures, and drive change
throughout the organization.
- Standard Work Development: Work with leaders and teams to
establish Leader Standard Work and Associate Standard Work
processes and procedures that promote consistency, efficiency, and
quality.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that Lean initiatives and process
improvements align with quality standards and customer
expectations.
- Performance Monitoring: Assist leaders in monitoring and
tracking progress of Lean initiatives, measure key performance
indicators (KPIs), and report on results to stakeholders.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current on industry trends, best
practices, and emerging Lean methodologies to continuously enhance
knowledge and skills in Lean principles and practices.
- Apply principles of Lean/PDCA in daily improvement and project
work.
- Lead CI Project work as appropriate.Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: B.S. Degree organizational development, business
management, industrial engineering or combination of associate
degree with related field experience.
- Business acumen in Commercial processes - Sales, Marketing and
Customer Care (preferred).
- Minimum of five years of experience leading/facilitating Kaizen
events and workshops.
- Minimum of three years process improvement experience working
with executive teams.
- LSS Green-Belt and/or equivalent Lean certification preferred,
but not required.
- Experience as a Continuous Improvement coach, mentor, and
trainer.
- Program Management experience preferred, but not required.
- Project Management experience: certification preferred, but not
required.
- Change Management experience: certification preferred, but not
required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams,
PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Project, Office 365 (Whiteboard, Forms,
etc.), and Visio required.
- Power BI experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Leadership
