Assistant Controller (33424)Our client is a reputable financial services company that is currently looking for an Assistant Controller to join their team. The Assistant Controller responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:Responsibilities:* Assist in preparation of month end entries, monthly and quarterly financial statements, board reports, and regulatory reports.* Assist in management of the company's general ledger, including analysis and verification of data integrity on a daily basis.* Prepare financial reports, financial analyses, cash management and forecasting reports, at the direction of the Controller.* Assist in preparation of budget for various expenses.* Assist in the preparation and review of financial institution finance projections.* Assist with the preparation of quarterly 10-K and 10-Q schedules.* Maintain schedules for auditors and examiners.* Reconcile bank accounts and resolve problems with other banks.* Manage the Accounting department in the absence of the Controller.* Assist Controller with special projects.The Assistant Controller will possess the following:Requirements-- The Assistant Controller will have 5+ years' accounting experience, financial organization experience strongly preferred.-- Strong computer skills including advanced Excel skills.-- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.-- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Equal Opportunity Employer
