Job Description:

What is a Drexel Leader?

The Role:
Communicate team culture and exemplify core values
Ability to have tough conversations while still maintaining empathy and respect.
Train and lead Drexel Finance Team Members (Accounts Receivable and Payable) at all locations.
Work with the Drexel finance team to help define roles and responsibilities.
Assist in training and motivating new and current team members.
Attend and lead weekly Finance tactical meetings, along with bi-quarterly strategic meetings.
Proactively troubleshoot and monitor potential financial or work flow problems.
Develop strategies on enhancing relationships with QB's and clients
Working with VP and CFO on Drexel goals and objectives.
Retain constant awareness of Drexel's financial position and forecast any future issues or complications.
Maintain awareness of current financial trends and practices that could improve efficiency of the team.
Strong interest in workflow efficiencies; autonomy to continue enhancing this role.
Able to work independently in a deadline-sensitive and fast-paced environment
Strong relationship management and influencing skills
Must be detail oriented and highly organized
Great communication and active listening skills are a must!
Time management: ability to multitask, prioritize and manage simultaneous and/or competing deadlines.
Financial degree and experience of 3 years is strongly preferred.
