    What you will do:
    • Fixed asset consulting and tax planning primarily for real estate transactions
    • Additional Consulting
      • Fixed asset maintenance
      • Advisory to fixed asset related accounting methods
      • Provide support to capital transactions to maximize IRR for clients
      • Renewable energy, energy efficient home tax credits, energy efficient commercial building deductions
      • Research of tax technical topics relating to REC client transactions
      • Recognize and implement tax planning opportunities for fixed asset acquisitions, sales, structuring, associated state tax issuesQualifications:Successful candidates will have:
        • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting or related field required.
        • Masters Degree, JD, ASA, or other applicable advanced certification a plus
        • 2+ years of work experience with cost segregation, construction management, or commercial appraisal experience required
        • Strong interest in asset valuation through research/experience and tax law.
        • Proficient math and analytical skills.
        • Ability to visualize 3-dimensionally with comprehension of architectural blueprints.
        • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically advanced knowledge of Excel and Access
        • Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision making skills
        • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
        • Proven self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a timely manner
        • Passion for finding creative and efficient solutions to analytical problems
        • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
        • Willingness to travel to client locations and various Baker Tilly office locations#LI-SF2
