Job DescriptionPosition SummaryManages, develops and implements marketing activities to maximize sales of an assigned market, region, product or brand. Of critical importance is an ability to develop mid- and long-term strategic plans for sustainable growth while effectively executing against annual objectives.ResponsibilitiesResearch, Sizing and Segmentation* Perform primary and secondary research to grow institutional knowledge of the competitive landscape in support of product lifecycle management, development of value propositions & positioning statements, identification of niche markets, and competitive pricing strategies* Assist in identifying and ranking strategic priorities based on market insights (addressable market, growth, application of distinctive competencies)* Support product roadmap development identifying and quantifying opportunities for innovationMarketing Communications and Sales* Identify and manage the development of omni-channel product marketing campaigns at targeted audiences within your assigned verticals or application-types* Collaborate with product marketing / marcomm teams to measure, interpret, report out, and improve campaign efficacy over time* Work with sales and marketing to build integrated go-to-market strategies for assigned product, market or vertical* Partner with product management to ideate, create, present, and champion new product or market growth opportunitiesContent Management* Support mid-to-long term revenue strategies with business development team through improvement of lead generation process, creation of funnel management tools, and creating a coherent linkage between business development, sales, and marketing initiatives* Support creation of feature/benefit content to drive revenue for assigned market or product portfolio through various go-to-market channels* Development and maintenance of playbooks which articulate key features (differentiators) of products, communicate value props based on personas, and other items which help improve field sales efficacyQualificationsExperience and Skill Required* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related field* 4 years of experience* Familiarity with a variety of the field marketing concepts, practices and procedures.
