About the Role: High Point Residence is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is an entry-level, part-time position focused on ensuring our community remains safe, clean, and well-maintained. Primary responsibilities include general maintenance of the building, equipment, and grounds, with a strong emphasis on floor care, garbage disposal, and overall building presentation. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems - Assist with general upkeep of the facility, including grounds and equipment - Monitor and maintain cleanliness, especially floors and common areas - Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities and repairs - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations Minimum Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Strong communication and problem-solving skills - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Preferred Qualifications: - Prior experience in a healthcare or residential care setting - Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) High Point Residence is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
