If you are excited about working with youth, coaching, teaching and developing through an active swim program then Elite is for you.QualificationsPrevious Youth Swim Instruction for ages 5-12American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional RescuerAmerican Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (preferred but not required)American Red Cross Oxygen Administration (preferred but not required)ResponsibilitiesActively utilize " Instructor Guide" during classes; all objectives should be introduced and practicedAdapt teaching approaches to ages, experiences, and abilities of participants so they can meet class/level objectivesProvide for the health and safety of participants, by ensuring that all teaching and practice areas are free of hazards, and that materials and equipment is safeCommunicate regularly with participants and their parents; they should be aware ofprogress of skillsTake attendance (if Lessons Supervisor or Aquatics Director does not)Use skill demonstrations and positive reinforcement while teaching your class new skillsEnforce all aquatics facility policies, rules, and regulations; educate patrons about themReport any unsafe conditions or equipment to Aquatics DirectorFollow Emergency Action Plan when neededFill out required records and reports on scheduleComplete additional duties as assigned by supervisor or directorPowered by JazzHR16GHCZYuMp
