You partner with government, K-12 and university clients and
highlight how our telecommunications products can resolve their
complex technology needs. After completing our award-winning
training, you provide dedicated account management and proactively
pursue new clients using email campaigns, cold calling, discovery
calls, appointment setting and client presentations. - How you can
make a difference: -
- Complete our 12-week paid sales training that won a Brandon
Hall Group gold award for excellence in Best Advance in Sales
Enablement and Performance Tools.
- Consult with established and prospective clients to develop
product solutions.
- Navigate government and education procurement processes to set
up successful sales.
- Deliver product proposals and presentations to decision-makers
and conduct negotiations.
- Travel to client sites to manage field sales activities.
- Field-based sales roles have fluidity between home, client
location and office locations. The expectation is that you are
primarily out in front of clients.
- Identify target markets, industries and contacts to expand
product portfolio.
- Encourage client retention through coordinated efforts with
multiple internal teams. - WHAT YOU BRING TO SPECTRUM BUSINESS -
Required qualifications: -
- Experience : Three or more years of sales experience as a
proven sales performer; Three or more years of outside
telecommunications-related sales experience.
- Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
- Skills : Network building, negotiation, closing and
interpersonal English communication skills.
- Abilities : Quick learner, deadline-driven and the ability to
multitask.
- Availability : Travel to and from assigned territories and
company facilities. Valid driver's license. Preferred
qualifications: -
- Two or more years of experience in B2B sales selling data,
voice, cloud or video solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience working with state and local government or
