Job Description Job Description Occupational Therapist Location: Des Plaines, IL 60016 Start/End Date: ASAP - June 5th, 2026 Grade Levels: Elementary Role: This role runs through the end of this school year with and additional option to work Extended School Year as well as the option to cover an opening for the start of the 2026-2027 school year. Hourly Wage: $46.00-$56.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications Paid Time Off: 6 days per year, prorated based on your start date Benefits: Benefits start the first of the month following your start date. 100% of the employee’s individual medical insurance costs covered. As a School Occupational Therapist with AnthroMed, you’ll join a dynamic, collaborative team that values student success, personal growth, and professional development. We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide onsite therapy and support to elementary students in Des Plaines, Illinois. This role begins as soon as possible and runs through June 5th, 2026 with an additional option to work Extended School Year and cover an opening for the beginning of the 26-27 school year. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to support students and address their fine motor and sensory regulation needs. Responsibilities • Provide full-time occupational therapy services to elementary students, Monday-Friday, 7:20AM-2:35 PM. • Conduct evaluations, develop individualized educational plans (IEPs), and implement evidence-based interventions to address fine motor and sensory regulation needs. • Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support students across both classroom and individual settings. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders. • Utilize IEP system for management and compliance. • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities. • Enjoy a dedicated office space for therapy sessions and planning. Qualifications • Active Occupational Therapy license in Illinois (IDFPR). • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Dependable, flexible, and dedicated to supporting the fine motor and sensory regulation needs of students.
