Job Description:

Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an
elementary school in Chicago, IL, for the remainder of the 2026
school year. This full-semester contract position starts January
5th and runs through May 29th, 2026. The role supports Pre-K
through 5th-grade students, focusing primarily on elementary-level
caseloads. Responsibilities: Provide speech-language therapy
services to approximately 12 students on Individualized Education
Programs (IEPs) and 7 students receiving Response to Intervention
(RTI). Diagnose and treat speech, language, communication, and
swallowing disorders in young learners. Collaborate with educators,
parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective
treatment plans. Maintain detailed documentation and progress
reports consistent with district and state requirements.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise on student
communication needs. Qualifications: Valid Illinois State Licensure
for Speech-Language Pathology. Professional Educator License (PEL)
endorsement for SLP. Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or
related field. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
is highly desirable. Experience working with elementary school
populations preferred. Location and Schedule: Based at an
elementary school in Chicago, IL. Part-time schedule, approximately
2.5 days per week. This role offers meaningful work with young

Compensation for this position ranges from $41.40 to $61.40.
