Job Description:
Job Title: Associate Design EngineerLocation: Hartland,
Wisconsin
Position Overview: Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the
Associate Design Engineer provides support to the application and
the sale of Dorner Mfg. Corp. special and standard products.
Primary responsibilities include engineering specialty orders as
well as standard and documentation of engineered products. The
successful candidate will support internal business teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: --- Engineer standard and
specialty ordered products.--- Enter customer and account data and
document aspects of engineered products. --- Support the
manufacturing and assembly process.--- Support the sales of
standard and special products including proving prop.--- Implement
projects that improve, augment, reduce costs or in other ways
modify standard product lines.--- Draft and detail individual
parts.
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities: --- Demonstrates
aptitude with problem solving and decision making. --- Attention to
detail. Achieves thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a
task through concern for all areas involved. --- Ability to learn
and adapt to new situations, take on new challenges, and adjust
accordingly. --- Demonstrates product knowledge obtained through
experiential hands-on training. --- Displays technical knowledge
and skills to successfully accomplish the job.--- A team player
with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Required Qualifications:--- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering -
Mechanical or related--- 1+ years of experience --- CAD design;
Solidworks preferred
