Job Description:
Volt is immediately hiring for a 2nd shift CNC Machine
Maintenance Technician in Franklin, WI. This position is the U.S.
Headquarters location of a growing international company that
designs and builds automated equipment primarily for beverage
industry clients! 2nd shift – flexible hours, you can start as
early as 11:00am. Training will be 1-2 months on 1st shift, either
5 AM – 1 PM or 6 AM – 2 PM As a CNC Machine Maintenance Technician
you will: Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic,
pneumatic, and other issues on machines such as CNC Lathes, Mills,
Lasers, and Waterjets. Repair and replace parts on mechanical
equipment such as press brakes, drills, or equivalent.
Repair/replace pneumatic components, electrical switches, and small
motor controls. Replace fuses and lighting equipment, etc. Perform
machine alignments, complete PMs on all production equipment in the
shop, and observe and diagnose malfunctioning equipment. Use
electronic test equipment, hand and power tools to complete
maintenance. Trouble shoot & repair from electrical schematics,
parts lists, and mechanical drawings supplied by equipment
manufacturers. Communicate effectively with equipment manufacturers
& production leaders. This is a full-time Direct Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have: 2 years of related CNC maintenance
experience High school education with coursework in skilled trades
preferred. Basic machining operations experience for mill and lathe
in order to diagnose problems. Knowledge of electrical circuits and
electronics, pneumatic system, schematics, & components, and
PLC/Parameters knowledge. We use metric for our machinery; requires
working knowledge of machine tool nomenclature and repair.
Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles
associated with machine tools. Salary: $28-$34/hour PLUS 10%
differential for 2nd shift. (Differential pay will start after
training, OT opportunities available once training has been
completed) *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be
