Job Description:
The International Code Council (ICC), a globally recognized
nonprofit organization that sets the standard for building safety,
is seeking a dedicated Technical Services Staff member to join our
team. This role is pivotal to supporting the application and
understanding of ICCs standards and codes within the engineering
and architectural sectors. The ideal candidate will assist in
resolving technical queries, support compliance efforts, and ensure
that practices remain consistent with current regulations and
sustainability goals. Provide technical support and troubleshooting
services to professionals in the construction, engineering, and
architecture industries. Assist in the interpretation and
application of codes and standards to real-world scenarios. Handle
technical inquiries through various channels including phone,
email, and live chat. Collaborate with other departments to update
and maintain technical documentation and guidelines. Participate in
the development of training materials and conduct educational
workshops. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and code
amendments to provide accurate guidance. Strong knowledge of
engineering principles and architecture Familiarity with ICC codes,
local building regulations, and compliance requirements Ability to
effectively communicate technical information to non-technical
stakeholders Proficient in the use of CAD software and other
engineering tools Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to
detail Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Certified Building Official (CBO) or equivalent is
preferred Membership in relevant professional organizations such as
ICC or ASCE
