Our client, a leading organization in the technology infrastructure sector, is seeking a Data Center Technician Lead to join their team. As a Data Center Technician Lead, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting critical data center functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization. Data Center Technician Lead Mount Pleasant, WI Pay Rate: $37.00/hr. - 42.00/hr Ongoing contract Schedule: Monday to Friday, between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM (Central Time) What's the Job? Oversee hardware deployment, diagnostics, and decommissioning activities within enterprise data center environments. Manage task execution, perform complex upgrades and repairs, and ensure quality and safety compliance. Mentor technicians through on-the-job training, deliver technical lessons, and promote teamwork and knowledge sharing. Conduct daily safety briefings, enforce PPE standards, and escalate safety or security concerns promptly. Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize tasks, track progress, and maintain operational excellence across shifts. What's Needed? At least 2 years of experience in a 24x7x365 data center environment. Minimum 1 year of supervisory or lead experience. Ability to meet security requirements, including background checks and security clearances. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb, and stand for extended periods, including participation in on-call rotations. High school diploma or equivalent. What's in it for me?
