Identity Protection and more! What You Will Do: We’re seeking a
Reliability Engineer with hands-on experience improving plant
equipment performance through reliability-centered maintenance and
operational best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in leading maintenance and production teams,
implementing CMMS strategies, supporting OSHA Process Safety
Management elements, and managing critical spare parts and tooling.
Design, monitor, and refine an asset maintenance plan that includes
value-added preventive maintenance tasks and effective utilization
of predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies
designed to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems.
Perform breakdown analysis and root cause analysis to drive
continuous improvement. Participate in the development of criteria
for and evaluation of equipment suppliers and technical maintenance
service providers. Selection of and proper use of technology to
comply with quality management system requirements and OSHA PSM
regulations where applicable, including Thermography, Vibration
Analysis, Ultrasound, and NDT. Work with project engineering to
ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified
installations. Participate in the final check-out of new
installations. Manage effective performance of vendors and
suppliers supporting upkeep of the facility buildings and grounds.
Support company reputation by complying with federal, state, and
local regulations. Follow and enforce safety rules without
exception. Track the project's metrics and collect data to
demonstrate successful completion of project goals. Control costs
by tracking and approving expenditures and closely supervising
contractor work. Report on adherence to project budget to
management and Accounting. Turn in timely and accurate
documentation to AP for processing. What You Need to Succeed:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering
education. Six or more years’ related experience in maintenance and
reliability, production management, engineering or operations.
Chemical plant operations preferred. Previous maintenance
reliability role and at least 10 years of experience without a
degree will be considered. Ability to identify complex problems and
review related information to develop, evaluate, and implement
solutions. Excellent computer literacy and competency using MS
Office, including intermediate/advanced Excel; project management
software, equipment maintenance software, etc. Demonstrated
excellent project management skills including organizational, time
management, leadership, and solid decision-making skills. Capable
of managing multiple projects at the same time. Excellent verbal
and written communication skills as well as interpersonal,
analytical and presentation skills. Documentation and reporting
skills are essential. Knowledge of applicable codes, policies,
standards, and best practices. Possess great collaboration skills
with ability to work closely with cross-functional team members.
High degree of professional integrity and ethics. Knowledge of
production processes, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other
techniques for maximizing effective manufacturing and continuous
