We are looking for a proven, results-orientated Internal CommunicationsManager to join our North America ManpowerGroup team.This role will contribute to our strategy and goals in 3 key areas:Serve as the communications expert and leader for North America, establishing and driving communication strategies and delivering impactful communication that supports the business, making sure our people are aligned, informed and engaged.Partner with our Global Communications team to incorporate our company thought leadership into our internal communications strategy.Strengthen our employer brand by creating a common look and messaging related to our offerings and opportunities as an employer in partnership with our marketing and talent acquisition teams.Based in ManpowerGroup's global headquarters in Milwaukee, WI, thisposition leads the development and delivery of our internal communicationsstrategies. The right individual is a highly-experienced communicationprofessional with strong leadership capabilities, exceptional writing skills,and a proven track record in providing expert communications advice andleadership.How you'll make a difference and gain experience:Lead and develop strategic internal communications and engagement plans including execution of the communications plan tactics (intranet content, video, print, events, etc.).Ensure internal messages across our brands and teams advance our strategy and engagement.Produce excellent executive communications. Partner with senior leaders to develop communications including organization announcements, regular leader updates, change communications and internal presentations.Develop new, interesting, creative, and compelling ways to engage and educate internal audiences about the company strategy; regularly develop and explore new ideas, strategies, and tactics.Lead the planning, development and execution of company-wide internal meetings (live and virtual) including all-employee town halls, quarterly management meetings and annual leadership summits.Manage internal communication cadence and channels to ensure organizational messages reinforce our tone and message.Lead the development and execution of internal crisis response strategies working closely with Global / North America PR and legal.Collaborate with our People & Culture team to create communication and materials to support our people practices (e.g. talent planning, performance management, benefits open enrollment, etc.) that help us attract, engage and retain top talent.Partner with our Global Strategic Communications Team to adapt and embed our global thought leadership, research and workforce expertise across the business, helping our teams have better conversations with our clients and candidates.Help manage and recommend content for executives' social media channels leveraging thought leadership and sharing relevant external insight.Create new approaches to communications and continually evaluate the effectiveness of messaging with different audiences.Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to anticipate the communication needs of the organization and influence at all levels of the organization.Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.Strong relationship management capabilities to work across departments and levels. Strong people skills and the ability to get stuff done and bring others with you is critical.Proven success consulting with senior leaders in a large complex organization.Strong people leadership - ensuring the team has the right capabilities to meet fast-changing business needs.The ability to take initiative and be bold in offering help, recommendations and ideas to colleagues and leaders.Creative and driven by metrics and success.Appetite for future of work and skills trends and labor market related issues, see here for an example of our most recent thought leadership on the impact of technology on skills.Cool under pressure - able to manage competing requests and deliver great internal comms support across multiple projects.
