Job Description:

One of our Milwaukee area clients has a need for a part-time Project Manager for a contract opportunity. *** NO C2C. Local candidates only *** This is a 50% position, mornings preferred. We are looking for someone to manage all day-to-day activities of organizational change management and deployment projects in three concurrent Meetings Experience workstreams. These cover rollout of Zoom virtual meetings, update of meeting room equipment and change in telephony to replace Skype for Business. Includes producing project management deliverables and driving project deadlines and milestones. Accountable for aligning with OCM and deployment team leads, plus training, communications and marketing resources. Accountable for coordinating with engineering managers/product owners, as needed. Responsible for creating processes for monitoring and tracking of deliverables, as needed. Responsibilities include: - Schedules OCM and deployment meetings and other meetings dedicated to planning checkpoints required by OCM process. - Creates and maintains SharePoint project plan that covers all project deliverables, milestones and activities. Ensures this work is visible to product/engineering team. - Connects as needed with team members to ensure on-time delivery. - Manages/maintains project document library. Copies approved deliverable files and live training session overviews to End User Impact document repository. - Responsible for identifying, managing and escalating issues and risks and developing risk mitigation strategies (escalating to OCM and Deployment Leads). - Controls project scope and facilitates change management process. - Leads and mentors staff in project management techniques. - Validates estimates, risks, assumptions, constraints and interdependencies for viable solution options. How this role fits into the organization:Project manager reports to OCM product leader and works with OCM and deployment leads plus training and communication resources. Connects also with product/engineering team product owners to ensure flow of info between the two sides of the project. Must Have:--- Knowledge of industry best practices and project management methodologies, with the ability to determine the best strategy for a given effort --- Experience managing IT projects as well as creative deliverables in a corporate setting --- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills --- Excellent written and verbal and communication skills --- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills --- Ability to manage at least three concurrent projects simultaneously --- Creative problem solving ability --- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle --- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including SharePoint --- Desire to work in a dynamic, fast paced, collaborative environment. --- Minimum 5 years proven working experience in project management.
