Case Manager- Operating While Intoxicated Treatment CourtJob Code: 2021-CSCA-016Location: Court Services & Community AlternativesDepartment: Waukesha Adult & Juvenille ServicesFT/PT Status: Full TimeJob Responsibilities: Position Summary: This Case Management opportunity offers intensive support, supervision, and monitoring of third and fourth offense drunk drivers who have been adjudicated and are participating in Alcohol Treatment Court. As the case manager, you will engage in the following: Essential Functions:1. Provide case management structure, accountability and support for successful recovery from the Intake evaluation process through discharge;2. Make referrals to treatment and other community based support services;3. Meet face-to-face with people in the office or at their home;4. Maintain regular ongoing contact with all treatment providers regarding the status of individual participants;5. Report to the Treatment Court Team all pertinent client activity and status regarding treatment, attendance at self-help groups, employment, alcohol/drug tests and SCRAM results, ancillary services and client's family life;6. Attend pre-hearing staffings and court hearings;7. Assist with recommendations in determining Phase levels, sanctions, and incentives;8. Produce and maintain quality written and electronic files and court communication;9. Conduct timely and accurate data entry;10. Ensure that the Treatment Court supervision model, its core elements and all policies and procedures are followed;11. Ensure protection of client confidentiality;12. Conduct alcohol and drug testing, including utilizing SCRAM;13. Assist with drug testing in the Waukesha Court Service Programs as required;14. Weekend drug and preliminary breath testing as scheduled, Saturdays 7:00am to 10:00am;15. Attend the Waukesha County Victim Impact Panel at least one time per year. Other Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Assist with creative client incentives and reward celebrations;2. Maintain flexible schedule to provide coverage in the office when necessary3. Other job-related duties may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of the position.Job Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of the Wisconsin Criminal Justice System; knowledge of local treatment programs and community resources to include housing, education, public transportation; knowledge of the Circuit Court Access Program (CCAP); Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to respond appropriately in crisis situations; sensitivity toward cultural, ethnic and disability issues; good organizational, computer and typing skills; ability to read and understand drug testing results; good judgment; effective use of time.Minimal Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work or other related field; preference for case management experience; understanding of AODA issues and treatment; possess a valid Wisconsin Driver's License and insured auto; must pass criminal background check.pm21 Other Job Information (if applicable):PI154357529
