Director of Automation; the Automation Training Center and Service
Manager will be responsible for spearheading the development of
both class room lecture and "hands-on" training curriculums to
ultimately allow the Automation Division to fully design, build,
train, and provide service support for both our internal and
external customers.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Engineering,
Manufacturing, Robotic Programming, Quality, and Maintenance teams
to develop training curriculum, service technician qualifications,
and stocking/inventory of service parts for both internal and
external customers. Develop and revise training documents to
support technology advancements. Manages all operational activities
of the training and service center including staffing, facilities,
class scheduling, and coordination with internal and external
customers. Continually monitor effectiveness of training programs;
recommends new approaches to improve, update, and enhance services
offered. Develop training evaluation and assessment forms. Train,
develop, and motivate service technicians and monitor performance.
Coordinate and dispatch field service technicians to customer
facilities. Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a
high overall customer satisfaction status. Research and stay
current with best available technologies related to automation.
Operate in a team environment to help meet or exceed customer
expectations.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsExcellent
communication, leadership, and project management skills.Able to
communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.Possess
strong ME and EE skill sets related to automation that will be
utilized in development of curriculum.Obtains Fanuc robot knowledge
and experience including welding, 2D and 3D vision, and
collaborative applications.Strong knowledge of 2D and 3D modeling
software design tools to assist in the development of automation
design curriculum. AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Rockwell Studio
5000, FANUC ROBOGUIDE, SolidworksObtains Allen Bradley PLC and HMI
knowledge.Proficient user of Microsoft Office products.Desire to
help people learn and be successful.Organized and detail orientated
"People Person".Strong sense of urgency and problem solving
skills.Able to allocate, prioritize, and schedule resources
effectively.Ability to demonstrate leadership in meeting customer
driven training and service needs, and achieving results.Education
or Equivalents experience: The successful candidate will possess a
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or
Automation related field with 5+ years of training/service support
