You will be leading a wonderful team overseeing multiple programs and services to include Day Services, Workforce Development, Government Programming, and Mission Analytics.We would love to connect with you about this great opportunity.The Vice President Mission Services is a champion in the advancement of Goodwill's mission through diverse, established, and new and innovative programs and services, The VP of Mission Services oversees and supports the advancement of the overall Mission function by ensuring operational effectiveness.RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:The VP Mission Services is innovative, mission-focused, diverse, collaborative, values-driven and focused on results. A champion in the advancement of Goodwill's mission through diverse, established, and new and innovative programs and services, The VP of Mission Services oversees and supports the advancement of the overall Mission function by ensuring operational effectiveness. Sets long-term strategic vision (10+ years) and oversees planning for managing and growing a comprehensive Mission Strategy for Goodwill that includes executive direction to Workforce Development, Vocational Rehabilitation & Disability Services and our People Equity (Community) is involved in setting organizational strategy and vision and overseeing programmatic functions/departments.As a critical member of the Executive team, he/she will work collaboratively with the Chief Mission Officer (CMO), LEAP+, and across all business areas to ensure successful execution of the overall Mission Services and alignment of the organizational strategic plan. The Mission VP will ensure that the Mission team is properly resourced, and all constituents are engaged and informed. Continually aligns financial and operational performance to create economic value and reports to the Executive Team on any and all aspects of division Typically focuses on projects and initiatives that span 5-10 years, evaluates and monitors market trends.PRINCIPAL DUTIES:1. Directs and oversees large scale Mission projects with particular emphasis on resource planning, setting priorities, communicating timelines and deliverables, monitoring progress, and providing metrics and milestones achieved in accordance with the plan.2. Identifies opportunities for Goodwill to advance its mission and initiate new project(s). When doing so, develop the strategy to secure support so the project(s) is approved and supported by CMO.3. Partners with leaders throughout the organization to drive existing and new initiatives, programs, and services empowering the organization to achieve its mission, strategies, and goals.4. Board of Director meetings: provides updates on financials, operations and progress towards goals for area/s of responsibility.5. Conceive and implement strategies for increasing mission impact, quality business growth, and financial sustainability of workforce and other programs.6. Develops evaluation strategy for overall mission performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics7. Responsible for the strategic and programmatic alignment of People Equity (Community), Workforce Development, and Disability Services continuum of program operations and strategic direction.8. Works with other business unit executives on strategic planning and initiatives to meet long-term Mission outcomes.9. Identify and develop market opportunities for assigned business lines, aligned to organizational core competencies.10. Serve as the liaison with internal and external customers, funding sources, other agencies and community organizations.11. In collaboration with CMO, develop the Mission organization's strategic direction, address strategic issues and opportunities facing the mission organization, and continuously evaluate changes in the mission function.12. Maintain the highest level of accreditation from CARF, ISO, and/or other accrediting organizations as appropriate.13. Leading and Developing Talent: Directs organizational design for multiple departments and oversees development and training of staff. Ensures ongoing succession planning and development within and outside of unit. Actively networks and sources for positions throughout the organization.14. Project and Change Management: Establishes project priority and timing, articulates vision for organizational changes. Authorizes use of organizational time, talent and financial resources to support projects and improvement initiatives. Manages change through effective communication and coaching throughout the organization. Builds and participates in leadership coalition supporting and implementing the change and frequently serves as Project Sponsor for major initiatives.15. Community Engagement: Demonstrated leadership presence in the community through serving on volunteer boards, steering committees or other community committees that align with our intended impact.16. Responsible for completing other duties/responsibilities as assigned.REQUIREMENTS:1. Bachelor's Degree required and a minimum of 10 years' experience in non-profits, business administration, human services or related field.2. Demonstrated knowledge of economic and workforce development goals, initiatives, and resources influencing diverse populations with barriers to employment.3. Highly collaborative and committed to inclusive leadership.4. Leadership experience in development and implementation of multiple lines of service across multiple locations is highly preferred.5. Excellent communication and coalition-building skills with an ability to balance, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.6. Ability to work and thrive within a rapidly evolving organization, managing multiple priorities, while leading self and teams through ambiguity.7. Experienced leading change management and process improvement initiatives.LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES:1.
