SUMMARY OF POSITION:Responsible to design, develop, deliver and maintain all employee training and development curriculum and systems, in partnership with strategic leadership and subject matter experts. Trains and develops leadership in professional skills development. Develops succession plans consistent with strategic growth initiatives. Collaborates with senior leadership to identify high-potential candidates. Designs and implements professional development plans to support internal promotion preference. Collaborates with Talent Acquisition to refine Strategic Hiring Plans and integrate new talent into the organization. Responsible to support and improve a culture that attracts and retains a talented, engaged and high-performing workforce.CONFIDENTIAL MATERIAL AND INFORMATION: This position has access to confidential financial and/or employee information. Unauthorized disclosure of such information is prohibited and may result in disciplinary action consistent with the nature of the disclosure.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Develop and maintain employee training and development systems consistent with organizational priorities. Collaborate with senior management to assure training systems content supports long range organizational objectives. 2. Ensure employee learning objectives are achieved in a timely manner. Communicate with managers regarding direct reports' overdue, pending and failed trainings. Conduct manager training on LCMS program use.3. In conjunction with Subject Matter Experts; design, develop, deliver, audit and maintain training materials. Implement all training validation methods including competency testing and participant evaluations. 4. Design, develop and deliver leadership skills training with specific emphasis on enhancing the skill sets of current supervisory and management personnel and developing future leaders to support growth initiatives. 5. Develop and maintain succession plans consistent with strategic growth initiatives. Collaborates with senior leadership to identify high-potential candidates, design and implement professional career development plans that support internal promotion. 6. Design, develop and deliver human resources training to support development of standardized human resource management systems including performance management, wage and salary administration, recruitment and hiring, and company policy administration. 7. Oversee and administer annual performance review process for all employees. Coach managers on writing and conducting effective performance appraisals. 8. Provide primary support for the development and maintenance of an effective wage and salary structure. Oversee and administer annual compensation structure review. Complete annual compensation surveys, conduct point-factor analyses, and synthesize results data to assure a competitive wage and salary structure is maintained. 9. Support and/or conduct service, sales, and business development training on market differentiation, market strategy, sustainability initiatives, product application and sales techniques that support our Genuine Service Excellence certification systems.10. Team with operations to train personnel in continuous improvement methodologies, including lean production techniques and 6S skill sets. 11. Provide primary support for the development of an organizational Succession Planning Model. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to turn model into action plan and compress hiring process. Integrate new talent into the organization. 12. Support and/or develop employment branding methodologies to present an attractive corporate image to potential employees and customers. Leverage social media platforms including Glassdoor, Facebook and LinkedIn to disseminate branding message.13. Contribute to the continuous improvement of a culture that attracts and retains a talented, engaged and high-performing workforce. 14. Assist with the maintenance and interpretation of all company policies, employee handbooks, and on-boarding and orientation materials. 15. Provide support as needed to Human Resource team members to assure the attainment of departmental objectives. Perform HR project work as assigned by supervisor.16. Perform all other duties as required by immediate supervisor.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or Communications (or equivalent in relevant experience) plus a minimum of 5 years' business-related experience with expert-level understanding of training system design, delivery methodology and administration is required. Incumbent must possess strong knowledge of business practices, and expert level skill sets in MS PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with LCMS and course-authoring software programs is preferred. The incumbent must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, be well-versed in employee presentations, and possess solid business and organizational skills. SCOPE: This position is responsible to lead the talent acquisition and development functions on an enterprise-wide scale with $60M-$80M in annual sales. Direct reports include an HR Administrator and/or HR Intern.Required
