Job Description:
JOB SUMMARYOversee and manage the production output for the
facility. Implement the manufacturing strategy for productivity
improvement, reduce scrap rate, minimize equipment downtime and
ensure safety. Collaborate with the Sr Director to develop strategy
and lean initiatives to reduce cost of goods.This role oversees
production and warehouse at the site.CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manager day-to-day manufacturing operations. Ensure efficient
operations with minimum equipment downtime and quality production.
Ensure a safe, clean and secure working environment by establishing
and enforcing procedures, rules and regulations. Initiate fixed
capital requests, monitor all production related safety and
security systems and procedures on a regular basis. Conduct regular
safety meetings and review the effectiveness of the 5S program.
Manage plant operations according to established company policy,
Direct and coordinate all activities within the plant: coordinate
requirements with leadership, production, and shipping/receiving.
Develop and mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication,
training and development opportunities and performance management
process. Build and maintain employee morale and motivation; ensure
the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.
Conduct semi-annually performance management for reports. Establish
continuous improvement through lean initiatives in production.
Report production improvements and failures and recommended
solutions. Establish key performance indicators related to strategy
that track progress. Minimize and resolve external business related
complaints by maintaining liaison with local and divisional Quality
staff and Facility staff to investigate and resolve customer
issues. Ensure compliance of all products and procedures to the
Quality system, execute and implement all the training procedures
and documentation and perform troubleshooting and root cause

state, and local law.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSEducation & Relevant Work
Experience Bachelor's degree; minimum three to five year's related
experience or equivalent combination of education and experience;
previous manufacturing operations experience required.PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONSReasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical
problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in
situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to
interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral,
diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills: MS Office (Word, Excel)
required; SAP experience a pluLanguage Ability: Ability to read,
analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional
journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability
to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general
public.Math Ability: Ability to work with mathematical concepts
such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of
plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply
concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to
practical situations
