Position Summary:PrincetonOne has Partnered with a Major Manufacturer Of Sanitary Valves, Pumps, Replacement Parts utilized in the Food, Beverage, and Pharma Industries looking for a Category Market Manager with strong external knowledge and market awareness who will deliver go to market strategies, be the voice of the customer, make decisions on pricing, new product development, analyze market trends, interpret and analyze data, promote the differentiated value proposition to impact successful category growth and targets.
Who You Are: You are someone who has strong knowledge and external market awareness in the Sanitary Pumps, Valves, Replacement Parts Industry. You should have had strong face to face experience in working with the customer and acting as their voice and guide. You must understand what is going on the market currently, know what the competitors are doing, product introductions, their pricing, sales, and marketing strategies. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance.Additionally, you will work toward leveraging the brands and interpret the differentiated value proposition to successfully reach category growth targets.
What You Will Be Doing: Be the Expert with in-depth knowledge of the broader marketplace, sales trends, product lines, competitive set and pricing in the Sanitary Valve and Pump, Replacement Parts category.
Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Market Intelligence, competitive pricing, product costing, and ABC analysis to set item level pricing
  • Develop category plans, budgets, and implement pricing actions to meet revenue goals and objectives
  • Analyze massive amounts of data and insights to identify industry and customer trends
  • Establish effective price points, setting goals and assessing performance with the Sales Team
  • Manage the Sanitary Pumps, Valves and Replacement Parts, Product Lines, to fill gaps
  • Be involved in New Product Development and Product Extensions
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering and Vendors to develop new products, rationalize product lines, and improve the profitability or existing products
  • Work with Marketing to develop initiatives and tools that interpret the Company's Value Proposition relating to Pumps, Valves, and Replacement Parts
  • Analyze the Market to assess the potential for New Products and Services
  • Prepare and Present Category Sales Analysis and Trends to the Sales Team and Upper Management
  • Be the Voice- of -the- Customer to focus on ways to improve performance and satisfy customers
    Requirements:
    • 4 Year College Degree in Engineering or Related Field
    • The candidate must have knowledge of the Sanitary Valve and Pump Category---Go to Market Practices and Pricing Structure by Product Line
    • Commercial Awareness of what is happening with Customers and the Broader Market
    • Ability to Analyze large amounts of data and interpret them into meaningful and actionable insights and reports
    • Must have Strong Project Management Skills to ensure that initiatives are met and presented on schedule, in Budget-and with quality
    • The Ability to present and sell ideas internally and externally - strong presentation skills that drive passion and persuasiveness
    • Be able to Collaborate and work Cross-Functionally to achieve business goals. Be supportive of Team Contribution and Work. Promote Being a Team Player
    • Communicate with respect with all employees at all levels. Address the concerns of the Sales Team and be open to listening to their ideas as well as others
    • Uphold our Values, Integrity, Creativity and Excellence
    • 5 years or more years of Experience in Category Market Management in the Sanitary Valve and Pump, Replacement Part Industry
    • 25% Travel. Remote Based Location. Home Office Based
