Sr. Customer Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and
planning sales strategies, tools, and capabilities for the Server
Business Development organization. The Sr. Customer Marketing
Manager plays a critical leadership role representing the interests
of Server's customers within the cross-functional business
management teams while ensuring a win/win for Server. Working in
collaboration with sales leadership, this role is responsible for
the development, execution and tracking of all account and
territory business development plans and profit objectives which
includes fact-based business development strategies, plans and
support materials based on well thought out objectives, goals,
strategies, and measures of success. The Sr. Customer Marketing
Manager possess strong influencing skills and be able to understand
all aspects of the business. In addition, this person is a strong
collaborator who is well skilled in developing strong and trusted
business partnerships, both internally and externally. A successful
candidate in this role is a purpose driven individual who is guided
by Server's corporate and specific business development team
Imperatives together with Server's Core 4 equipment principles. A
customer centric mindset is critical in their thinking, planning
and focus as they work to deliver their responsibilities and
accountabilities. A successful candidate in this role is a
self-starter, resilient, and passionate about the work they do in
addition to possessing the leadership skills necessary to deliver
against the expectations of the role. Responsibilities
- The Sr. Customer Marketing Manager delivers annual sales and
profit targets by Increasing the company's income through
sustainable top line growth and bottom-line profitable sales.
- Works closely with Server's "Customer Opportunity Team" to
understand the opportunities that exist across our focus customers
through our customer's "Canvas"
- Develops and executes 12-to-18-month business plans with
clearly stated Objectives, Goals, Strategies and Measures, in
support of the achievement of annual company objectives.
- Working with Sales Leadership, develops Reps Group strategies
and plans in to support Server's growth by developing Rep specific
OGSM's and providing the training, and internal Server support to
drive Rep group performance to a level that achieves assigned goals
and objectives.
- Provide Voice of Customer and Fact-based data to qualify sales
projects aligned to our growth strategy and leveraging the six
critical skills (Critical Thinking, Planning & Organizing,
Influencing, People Development, Budget Management, Strategic
Planning) lead the assigned cross-functional business teams to
achieve our annual sales plans.
- The Sr. Customer Marketing Manager supports the development of
deep customer relationship by developing support materials that
provide a Fact-Based approach to Server's business development
efforts across all business development verticals.
- Is fact based in their approach and plan development especially
in areas of alignment between Customer and Server business
strategies. Will challenges the status quo when required.
- Ensures the CMM team Is a top resource for product and
procedural knowledge for end-users, dealers, consultants, food
manufacturers and territory reps.
- Provides the materials necessary to educates and trains
assigned customers and reps on Server products, key points of
differentiation, features and benefits and usage of products or
product categories as needed.
- Is a strong critical thinking and possesses strong planning &
organization skills ensuring department goals and objectives are
achieved.
- Attends approved trade shows, chain conferences and national
trade show.
- Adhere to normal policy when managing price negotiations,
variance, and returns. Confer with sales leadership and the finance
support team when special pricing or conditions may be
needed.Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years sales experience, with at least 4 years
spent in the food service industry or comparable B2B sales.
- Strong sales, planning and organization, negotiation and
follow-up skills are critical
- Professional attitude, demeanor and image
- Creative, self-motivated, critical thinker and sound decision
maker
- Ability to confront and resolve difficult situations and
conflict with key customers externally and internally while still
