The Opportunity Delaware North Sportservice is searching for a Catering Manager to join our team at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will manage all catering functions and event-related revenues for restaurants, suites, and other party areas. Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Salary: $55400 - $73400 / year The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. These are just some of the benefits we offer: Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company match Performance bonusesPaid vacation days and holidaysPaid parental bonding leaveTuition and/or professional certification reimbursementGenerous friends-and-family discounts at many of our hotels and resortsResponsibilities Partner closely with client, guests, and catering staff to produce exceptional events that drive referrals and positive public opinion.Plan, coordinate, and execute all catering events from start to finish and ensure the highest quality of product and service throughout.Manage the customer decision and relationship process.Coordinate with operations managers to organize necessary banquet, kitchen, and service staff and arrangements for each event.Maintain an excellent track record of maintaining budgetary allotments and exceeding guests' expectations.Document and review all records for each catering event and analyze what can be done to improve booking sales.Facilitate repeat and new business for catering functions and exceed the sales expectations of the Catering and Special Events Department.Maintain an excellent knowledge of food, wine, and spirits while marking our brand.Develop effective presentations both verbally and written where ideas, opinions, recommendations, and conclusions display strong understanding and expertise in the sales process.Design and deliver appropriate catering menus by collaborating with clients and chefs.Qualifications A minimum of three years of catering management experience in an arena or other large venue is required.Experience in food preparation, inventory and cost control, scheduling, and purchasing.Excellent customer service orientation, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to analyze data and make decisions.Must be familiar with standard food and beverage equipment.Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related preferred.Ability to work event hours including some holidays, weekends, and evenings.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.Excellent track record of exceeding budgets and exceeding guests' expectations.Who We Are Delaware North operates concessions and premium dining services at the 41,900-seat American Family Field, home of the Milwaukee Brewers since 1970.
