Job Description:
As a dedicated Leader within the Eaton Cybersecurity Product
Team reporting into the Director, Product Cybersecurity Center of
Excellence, you will have direct and equal responsibility to lead
the strategic and tactical direction of a security organization,
while guiding, leading, and developing a global team of Eaton
professionals focusing on driving new technologies, platforms and
research in new cybersecurity. In addition, this person will drive
the organizational adoption of DevSecOps and create best practices
and provide Thought Leadership and Market Collateral that enable
the cybersecurity champions who exist within engineering team to
modernize cybersecurity workloads. Help maintain our company's
reputation as a cyber-security leader, which impacts customer
relationships and future contract awards.
This is a vital leader within a team that is ready for expansion
and broader influence over Eaton's Cybersecurity strategy.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $150,000.00 -
$200,000.00 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable
incentive program.

guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills,
experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business
considerations.
The preferred location is Moon Township, PA (Pittsburgh area) and
relocation is available for individuals to move from their current
location in US/PR to Moon Township, PA.
We would also consider candidates who live within 50 miles of
Raleigh, NC; Peachtree City, GA or Milwaukee, WI with an
expectation of travel a minimum of one week a month to the offices
in Moon Township; along with travel for other key meetings as
needed/expected.
The Product Cybersecurity Lab along with other Digital Office
leaders are based in Moon Township, PA. Eaton's Electrical Sector
($13B+) is also based in Moon Township, PA, which provides for
future growth opportunities.
What you'll do:
Within a highly matrixed and collaborative environment you
will:
--- Influence and educate key stakeholders to drive a future
forward strategy and achieve successful business outcomes.
--- Gather, analyze, disseminate, and escalate actionable
intelligence for informed decision making across corporate
strategy, cyber security risk management and product planning as
well as cyber defenses.
--- Develop cutting-edge products and tools that reduce security
risks through enhanced threat and vulnerability detection coupled
with faster mitigation.
--- Analyze and diagnose complex cyber security issues and devise
robust (yet cost-efficient) solutions to protect against known and
emerging threats.
--- Build and lead cross-functional teams and resources with
diverse technical capabilities to focus on common goals.
--- Interface with internal and external clients as a champion and
evangelist for the Cybersecurity business
--- Use a creative and entrepreneurial mindset to create and drive
solutions with a forward-thinking approach
--- Create and drive a "Go to Market" strategy for business
development, project delivery, and financial results.
--- Develop scalable programs that deliver timely, actionable
insight and recommendations to key stakeholders.
--- Through strategy and leadership, maintain our company's
reputation as a cyber-security leader, which indirectly would
impact customer relationships and future contract awards.
--- Provide strategic guidance and oversight for security
application and platforms that operate within our
products/solutions platforms and hybrid environments globally
--- Focus on standardization, suitability, and integration of
existing and new technology to maximize security capabilities,
minimize spend, and provide best-in-class technology services to
our internal customers
--- Providing strategic risk guidance for critical projects,
including the evaluation and recommendation of technical controls
for integration of security into product development lifecycle
--- Grow a world-class cybersecurity team by hiring, training,
coaching, counseling your team to successful outcomes
--- Identify and drive partnerships that can address current
challenges and industry positioning.
Qualifications:
To conduct the duties associated with this role the following
experience is required:
--- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field from an
accredited institution
--- Minimum of 10 years' professional experience in
security-focused software development/cloud solutions
--- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a team of highly
skilled Product Security engineers
Skills:
--- Experience working at a senior level in a relevant (embedded
IoT systems focused) environment while leading and developing teams
of 5+ professionals and who are responsible for identifying
emerging cybersecurity technologies, risks, threats, and risk
mitigation.
--- Experience working with senior executive leadership to create,
drive and deliver cybersecurity focused solutions that led to
successful business outcomes and ROI
--- Experience driving policies and best practices that increase
the value of their function in one or more area: Secure
Development, Systems Engineering, System Architecture and/or
Security Controls to positive business outcome.
--- Deep knowledge of network technologies/protocols and computer
security concepts in large scale enterprise technology
environment.
--- Experience providing "hands on" technical leadership, Go To
Market strategy, and leadership/development for a team of
professionals for who are: identifying risks, emerging cyber
security threats, and risk mitigation processes at the senior
levels of a multibillion revenue organization
--- Experience securing a large application deployment on Azure,
AWS, or Google Cloud
--- Experience with driving DevSecOps framework
--- Experience managing product cybersecurity in market segment
Additional considerations:
--- Experience in the energy industry, or with similar critical
infrastructure managing teams driving hardware
