of Deposit Products supporting Deposit Pricing, Treasury Management
(TM), and Commercial Deposits will be responsible for leading and
overseeing the development and execution of commercial deposit
product management, treasury product management, and deposit
pricing across the entire organization. The primary focus of this
role will be to achieve deposit balance growth targets, deposit
interest expense and Net Interest Margin (NIM) targets, and TM fee
growth targets leveraging data, research, advanced analytics,
marketing, and technology across various segments. This role will
manage a team of product analysts, product managers, and product
directors who will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
to identify opportunities, deliver actionable insights, and provide
recommendations.
- Leadership: This position will be responsible for building,
leading and developing a high-performing team of product analysts,
product managers, and product directors.
- P&L Management: Responsible for the overall performance of
the Commercial Deposit P&L across all segments (Corporate
Banking, Government, Commercial Real Estate, Business Banking,
Private Wealth) by prioritizing initiatives, allocating resources,
monitoring performance, and determining necessary adjustments.
Holding direct reports and stakeholders responsible to achieve
financial targets.
- Strategy & Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of
continuous learning, innovation, and improvement within team.
Encourage the adoption of best practices, new methodologies, new
value propositions for clients/customers, and emerging trends in
the field. Work with data, technology, and segment partners to
prioritize and implement enhancements that improve acquisition,
retention, deepening, expenses.
- Business Partner Collaboration: Collaborate with
cross-functional teams, including consumer and business banking
product, data analytics, marketing, sales, finance, and digital to
prioritize and implement new initiatives to drive business growth
and operational efficiency.
- Communication and Presentation: Present insights, findings, and
recommendations to senior executives and c-suite stakeholders in a
clear and compelling manner. Be able to effectively communicate
complex financial/product concepts to both technical and
non-technical audiences.Job AccountabilitiesEducation:
- Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Data, or related
discipline Preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Data, Engineering or
related discipline Required.Experience
- 10+ years product and pricing experience Required.
- 10+ years' experience leading teams including the hiring,
development, and coaching of senior level (VP/SVP) colleagues
Required.
- 10+ years' experience with and proficiency in data-driven
storytelling and/or Strategic Planning Required.
- 7+ years financial services or banking experience,
Required.
- 5+ years direct P&L management and financial planning
Required.
- 5+ years of treasury management product/sales experience,
