CIBC's team, the Director, Business Effectiveness is a seasoned
professional responsible for leading a team to formulate approaches
and direction for the delivery of client experience, operational
projects, programs and services, business processes, and quality
assurance processes. The role contributes to planning, assessment,
development, and implementation of projects and initiatives. It
provides leadership to achieve outcomes that optimize channel
utilization and realize cost reductions. The role applies
leadership skills and technical expertise to research industry-wide
service delivery best practices, establishing benchmarks. It
exercises independent judgment to develop and implement effective
tracking and measurement models for assessing business performance
and quality improvement. The role drives innovation and applies
interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. At CIBC,

interview. How you'll succeed
- Lead the Business Effectiveness team supporting Private,
Personal, and Digital Banking, handling business responsibilities
such as issues management, procedure management, complaint
management, metrics, and RFIs related to exams. Collaborate with
second line partners to implement updates into procedures.
- Strategic Initiatives: Lead and execute key strategic
initiatives, support competitive analysis, benchmark industry
trends, and support sensitive internal initiatives with updates to
leadership.
- Process Enhancement: Analyze and improve strategic processes
for efficiency and positive results.
- Partner Engagement: Lead cross-regional tours, track, and
respond to feedback from frontline teams.
- Business Planning: Conduct P&L deep dives, understand
expense drivers, and link efficiencies to cost reductions.
- Client Engagement: Recommend programs to enhance customer

California residents - your privacy rights regarding employment. We
offer a competitive salary range of $190,000 - $220,000 for
Chicago, IL, based on experience, qualifications, and location. The
successful candidate may be eligible for incentive compensation,
