Director of Staff Development & Infection Control (RN)We have an exciting opportunity to build our team of healthcare professionals at Mirabella at ASU! We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) who is passionate about providing exceptional care and serving seniors. The Director of Staff Development & Infection Control will oversee day-to-day wellness needs of our residents at Mirabella at ASU, as well as oversee the staff development needs for clinical staff in Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living/Memory Care as needed. • Oversee and manage all efforts to minimize the spread of infectious diseases throughout our community.
• Support professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the residents and family members.
• Manage and oversee prevention process measures across the continuum
• Provide appropriate orientation and training to adequately support each new employee regarding infection control
• Collaborate with other highly skilled healthcare professionals, and serve as liaison to DON and Health Services team in reference to wellness initiatives
• Be part of a collaborative team as a highly respected and dedicated wellness liaison providing your nursing expertise in an innovative, team-centered, and compassionate working environmentAbout You:
  • Current Arizona license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) gained from completion of an accredited nursing program, college, or university.
  • Strong Assessment & Care Planning skills.
  • CDC Infection Preventionist certificate required (or able to obtain the certificate within 2 month of hire).
  • Previous experience as a Director of Staff Development in a long-term care and/or skilled nursing environment is preferred.Benefits:
