Job Description:

A growing Public Relations agency based in Northbrook, IL is searching for an Office Manager/Administrative Assistant to work directly with the President in organizing and maintaining processes and managing initiatives. This employee will play a significant role in billing, accounts receivable, operations and assist with human resources on behalf of the agency.Individuals in this role play a crucial role in cultivating a positive work environment and accommodating to our staff, clients and vendors. We re looking for this staff member to become an ambassador of our brand. The candidate should be reliable, trustworthy and an individual who thrives at multi-tasking and taking the initiative to work independently. While working primarily with the President and CEO, while collaboration with all staff members is expected and will be required. The Office Manager/Administrative Assistant needs to have a keen understanding of the work flow that is assigned to him/her and have the ability to stay organized and pay close attention to details.Benefits*Health*Dental*Vision*Paid time off, including flexible vacation policies & paid holidays*401k program with up to 3 percent salary match Desired Skills and Experience Individuals in this role should have at least 2 or more years of experience in administrative support in an office environment, strong written and oral skills, and proficient with all Microsoft Office tools and QuickBooks. A high school diploma or GED is required and Bachelor s degree is preferred.Below is a list highlighting the important responsibilities the candidate is expected to perform, but not limited to, including:Human resources:*Help us to create an enjoyable office environment*Keep track of employee PTO*Manage the administration of employee benefits plans*Collect & input data to report on people-related metrics and KPIsFinances:*Key responsibility with managing, tracking account billing details, client expenses and inputting data for billing*Assist with accounts receivables and client contractingOffice Management:*Answer phones and accept deliveries*Reviews, approves & maintains supply requisitions*Coordinate technology support between the staff and an IT person*Assist in supporting the on-boarding & departure of employees*Lead and support relationships with vendors including, UPS, Fed-X printers, phone, insurance broker, etc.*Proactively takes the initiative to predict needs and help manage projects as needed **Please note that sending a Cover Letter along with your Resume is preferred.About Fishman PRWhen you join the Fishman PR team, you're not just working at another PR firm - you're becoming a part of the nation's powerful franchising industry.
