Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Full Time Psychiatrist for one of our locations in the Milwaukee area.

Essential Functions Include: Supervise and manage daily operations of the prescribing of psychotropic medications to patients. Assist patients mental needs. Certifies a patient for inpatient hospitals when appropriate. Supervises Psych ARNP's. Maintains records and provides documentation associated with services delivered. Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Knowledge Required: Knowledge of current principles. Knowledge of mental health diagnostics and patient care services. Ability to supervise and train staff. Ability to assess and record symptoms using the POMR method of charting. Ability to maintain quality, safety and infection control standards.

Education Requirements: Licensed in the state as an M.D. or D.O. with specialty training in psychiatry. Board Certified or eligible. One year of clinical experience.
