More at www.rft.com/about.Position: The Business Development Representative has two major areas of focus. This position will have direct responsibility for generating revenue from penetration into the Hospital Market. This includes activities from prospecting. This representative will also have the responsibility to generate new sales opportunities for the Senior Care Market as a whole. The list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary. Working closely with the Inside Sales Managers and Regional Sales Manager, the Business Development Representative will have a great team to work with.Specific responsibilities include:

  • Bachelor's degree; or a minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability/willingness to make the daily volume of calls
  • PC skills are required including Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
    • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
    • Must possess a strong technical aptitude
    • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate several tasks simultaneously
    • To be professionally persistent
    • Ability to overcome rejection/objectives from prospects
    • To have good listening skills
    • Collaboration - team working ability
    • Ability to build credibility with prospects and customers
    • Understanding the internal sales process
    • Identify client budget, authority, needs, and timeframe
