  • Full and Part-Time ShiftsPrimary Responsibilities Include:
    • Supervise Certified Nurse's Aides under the direction of the Director of Nursing
    • Collect patient care data and monitor patient conditions and family dynamics based upon observation, history, and nursing/medical diagnosis
    • Contribute to the development of the care and discharge plans for assigned patients
    • Implement patient care utilizing care plan, delegated medical orders, and collaborate with health team members as necessary
    • Assist in evaluating outcomes of patient care planning and teaching
    • Revise care plan according to changing needs of the patient
    • Participate in the orientation and education of personnel and students
    • Document the delivery of health care and the nursing process in accordance with specific unit standards and hospital nursing policy
    • Demonstrate ability to prioritize tasks/responsibilities and complete duties within the allotted time
    • Know the rationale for the effect of medications and treatments, correctly administer the same
    • Perform administration and documentation of medications, internal nutrition, and treatments per physician's orders and record care providedRequirementsSuccessful Candidates Must Have:
      • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or current state license in good standing
      • 2+ years of acute care or rehabilitation experience as an RN/LPN preferred
      • Current CPR certification and maintenance throughout employment
      • ACLS certification preferred
      • Good working knowledge of geriatric care
      • Willing to work rotating weekends
      • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
      • Effective verbal and written communication skills
