Job Description:

This full-time, permanent Metrology Lab Engineer career opportunity is at a diverse, custom manufacturing company. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will encompass the following:

• 
  
• Programming Calypso
  
• Programming automated scanning and data collection programs
  
• Creating programs to to automatically provide metrology data
  
• Creating technical documentation
  
• Providing lab equipment implementation
  
• Overseeing metrology planning
  
• Taking part in print reviews
  
• Ensuring metrology information is accurate
  
• Utilizing Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R) and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
  
• Working with CAD software and engineering drawings
  
   
  Candidates must have a minimum background consisting of the following:
  
  • 
    
  • An engineering design related degree
    
  • One or more years of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing experience
    
  • One or more years of metrology equipment experience
    
  • One or more years of inspection gages experience
    
  • One or more years of reading and understanding engineering drawings
    
  • One or more years of 3D model creation experience
    
  • Possess a solid work history
    
  • Being a US citizen or green card holder
    
  • Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
