Position Summary:Mount Mary University is searching for an
enthusiastic individual to join our vibrant Psychology Department
and contribute to the realization of our mission as a tenure-track
Assistant Professor of Psychology. We are a community of faculty

undergraduate education for our students.Primary
Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be primarily
responsible for teaching undergraduate psychology courses with a
focus on either Behavioral Neuropsychology or Personality/Social
psychology. A Behavioral Neuropsychologist will have the
opportunity to teach a variety of courses, including Physiological
Psychology, Psychology of Learning, Behavioral Science Statistics,
Experimental Psychology, and Psychology Capstone Seminar. A
Social/Personality psychologist will engage students in classes
such as Psychology of Personality, Social Psychology, Developmental
Psychology, Behavioral Science Statistics, and Experimental
Psychology.The faculty member will also have an opportunity to
mentor undergraduate students and foster growth through advising,
engaging students in research, and supervising internships. We

through:program and strategic planningcurriculum development and
revisionserving as a resource for faculty members and other program
areasactively participating in faculty assembly and All-University

communityengaging in ongoing scholarship and professional activity
(research, publications, presentations)performing other duties as
assignedbe an effective teacher across the range of course
offerings including non-majors as well as introductory and
upper-level coursesbe able to teach in a variety of modalities
(in-person, hybrid, online)be prepared to mentor students as a
Faculty Advisorperforming other duties as assignedSkills and
Experience: D. in Psychology or ABD; at least three years of
experience teaching psychology at the undergraduate level, plus
experience teaching diverse learners; strong commitment to quality
teaching in the liberal arts and commitment to the mission of the
University.evidence of teaching effectiveness; demonstrated skill
in the application of technology for teaching and learningpositive
human relations, interpersonal and communication skills; ability to
work collaboratively as a member of professional and community
groupscommand of written and spoken EnglishQualifications:To
