We Are Hiring: Job Preference - Skills, Education and Experience:Active RN license, CLC certification, IBCLC within 18 months of hireWork Schedule:8 hour days, every third or fourth weekend as scheduling allows. What You Will Do: Provide lactation care and instruction to breastfeeding mothers and infants. Serve as a -lactation-related clinical resource, educator, and mentor.

• Perform initial and on-going assessments of patients' lactation goals and issues.
• Instruct and -demonstrate proper techniques and promote the importance of breastfeeding. -
• Identify the need for standard patient teaching plans and assist with their development.
• Act as a liaison to staff and physicians when addressing needs associated with breastfeeding. -
• Contribute to the development of data tools to monitor and improve outcomes. What You Will Need: Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job -transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if -considered multi-state/Compact State.
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
  • Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
  • Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program credentialed from the S.T.A.B.L.E. Program preferred.
  • Certification specializing in Lactation preferred.Education:
    • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. Additional Preferences: No additional preferences.
