Title: RN-Registered Nurse - Med Surg -Location: - Columbia St.
Mary's Milwaukee -36 Hours - Full TimeRotating Shift - 7:00pm -
7:30am OR 7:30am - 7:00pm - Rotating every 6 weeks -The department
is a 32-bed medical/surgical telemetry unit that specializes in
neurology, neurosurgery, and orthopedics. -We provide care for the
following diagnoses: stroke, epilepsy, brain mass, encephalopathy,
spinal fusion, laminectomy, surgical fracture repair,
osteomyelitis, amputations, as well as general medical/surgical
diagnoses. -You will experience a phenomenal team of Nurses and
Patient Care Assistants that are welcoming and eager to facilitate

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established
policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and
communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for
well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with
members of the healthcare team.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association
(AHA) obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of
Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state
license if considered multi-state/Compact State.Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
