* 1.0 FTE is Full-Time, any position less than 1.0 FTE is
Part-Time, and .001 FTE is Optional Part-Time*
* Positions with an "FTE" (full time equivalency) of .8 - 1.0 are
eligible for full-time medical, dental and vision benefits.
Positions with an "FTE" of .5 - .799 are eligible for part-time

Shift: Shift 1
Summary:
Assists physician, medical staff and other allied health
professionals in the treatment of diseases and conditions seen in
the assigned Ambulatory Clinic by providing accurate diagnostic
information, including pertinent history, preliminary physical
examination, preliminary interpretation of data, patient and family
education and coordination of care along the continuum. Follows
hospital and clinic specific standards of practice, hospital
policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Clinical education and experience in a field that is
applicable/acceptable to specific clinic is required.
Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level
normally acquired through completion of a program at an accredited
School of Nursing is required.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a
Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC
(Nurse Licensure Compact).
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the
Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required
within 90 days.
Other information:
Ability to utilize Electronic Medical Records (currently EPIC) and
other technology as appropriate to role within organization.
Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when
planning and performing professional nursing care, resolving
patient care problems and dealing with patients and their families,
often during stressful situations.
