• Certification Details
• Required certifications include AHA BLS, AHA PALS, NRP, and NBRC RRT (must be RRT).
• Wisconsin license is required.
  • Job Details
  • Respiratory Therapist position available at Children's Wisconsin - Milwaukee Campus.
  • Respiratory Therapy specialty.
  • 13 week contract length with a start date of ASAP.
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week.
  • Shift requirements are 12 hour NOC shift from 1830-0700.
  • Charting experience with Epic Clin Doc is preferred.
  • Professional scrubs required as uniform.
    • Job Requirements
    • A minimum of 3-5 years experience in Peds critical care or NICU.
    • Must be able to function on PICU and Level IV NICU.
    • Experience with ventilator management, intubations, extubations, suctioning, and treatments is required.
    • Experience with PICU and managing respiratory care patients is required.
      • Schedule Information
      • Weekend rotation required, every other weekend or occasionally every 3rd.
      • Holiday rotation not applicable.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • The unit includes a 24-bed peds cardiac ICU, a 24-bed peds medical ICU, a 24-bed peds surgical ICU, and a 70-bed level IV NICU.
        • Staffing includes 2-3 RCP's in each of PICU, 3-4 RCP's in NICU depending on census.
          • Additional Details
          • Float requirements include primarily PICU and NICU, but may need to float to general med/surg acute care units, EDTC.
          • No on-call or call back requirements are specified.
          • Client can terminate the contract with 2 weeks' notice if census dictates.
          • Scrub Colors: Any professional scrubs
          • Jewelry guidelines: A single small stud is now permitted to be worn in the nose. No other visible body piercings are acceptable.
