  • Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36
  • Shift Requirements: 12 hour NOC shift 1830-0700
  • Charting: Epic Clin Doc, preferred
  • Manage respiratory care patients, vent management, intubations, extubations, suctioning, treatments
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum Experience: 3-5 years Peds critical care or NICU
    • Must be able to function on PICU and Level IV NICU
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 HR Night Shifts
      • Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend, occasionally every 3rd
      • Holiday Rotation: N/A
      • Float Requirements: Primarily PICU and NICU, but may need to float to general med/surg acute care units, EDTC
        • Unit Specific Information
        • PICU Experience Required
        • Vents-Servo I and Servo u, LTV's, Astral and Trilogy, Oscillators, Trach patients, knowledge of invasive and non-invasive ventilation, CPAP, BiPaP, RAM cannula, NAVA ventilation, PEP, INO
        • 24 bed peds cardiac ICU, 24 beds peds medical ICU, 24 beds peds surgical ICU, 70 bed level IV NICU
        • 2-3 RCP's in each of PICU, 3-4 RCP's in NICU depending on census
          • Additional Details
          • Client can terminate contract with 2 weeks' notice if census dictates
          • Any professional scrubs
          • Jewelry (body piercing/body adornment): A single small stud is now permitted to be worn in the nose. No other visible body piercings (e.g. tongue, eyebrow, lips and gauges) are acceptable (except ear piercings). Flesh colored or clear piercing plugs may now be worn
          • Flu vaccine required. NO EXEMPTIONS
