Nursing Care Specialist
Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals at Ascension Wisconsin, a leading non-profit, faith-based national health system. About the Role
This is a full-time, 0.9 FTE position with a 36-hour workweek, including nights, weekends, and holidays. As a Nursing Care Specialist, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients, including implementing and monitoring patient care plans
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team Requirements
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State"
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Graduate of a board-approved Registered Nurse Program
  • RN with approximately 18 months or more experience preferred Benefits
