Nursing Care SpecialistAscension Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated Nursing Care Specialist to provide direct nursing care to patients in our fast-paced Neuro Intensive Care Unit (ICU) environment.About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care for patients with complex neurological conditions.Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans, prioritizing patient needs and safety.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.Requirements
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification within 6 months of hire date.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience in a Neuro ICU environment, with a focus on high-acuity patients.
