Pay Information $2,272 per week About The Position Job Title: ICU Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Client ICU, Critical Care, CVICU, Cardiovascular ICU, Cardiac Progressive Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current state license required Certifications: CPR, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience in Neuro, Cardiac, and ventilator care Description: We are seeking experienced ICU Nurses with Neuro, Cardiac, and ventilator experience. Candidates must have a current state license, CPR, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Travel RNs may be required to float to a Step-Down ICU unit. This position requires working every other weekend and holiday. Shifts are 12 hours, from 7 PM to 7 AM. Essential duties include utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members in patient care. You will administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing techniques and standards of care. Documentation must meet the established standards of care. You will develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by the physician and hospital policy. Participation in department or unit performance improvement activities may be required. You will provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units and departments to support the patient’s longitudinal plan of care.
