hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Position:
Histotechnologist Duration: Project Starting With 3 months of
contract and after understanding of instrument of facility, Work
environment of facility & bonding with manager the project it will
go to FTE. Location: Milwaukee, WI Shift Timing: 1pm-9:30pm
Required Skills: •/tEmbedding experience. •/tMicrotomy experience
•/tCut 20 to 30 blocks/hour, Embed 20 to 30/hour Job Description:
•/tThe main function of a Histotechnologist is to perform complex
medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment and
prevention of disease. Responsibilities: •/tReview laboratory
findings to check the accuracy of the results. •/tSupervise
clinical studies and other research projects. •/tInstruct staff to
operate, calibrate and maintain equipment used in quantitative and
qualitative analysis, such as spectrophotometers, calorimeters,
flame photometers, and computer-controlled analysers. •/tDevelop,
standardize, evaluate, and modify procedures, techniques and tests
used in the analysis of specimens and in medical laboratory
experiments. •/tEstablish and monitor quality assurance programs
and activities to ensure the accuracy of laboratory results.
•/tSupervise, train, and direct lab assistants, medical and
clinical laboratory technicians and technologists, and other
medical laboratory workers engaged in laboratory testing Skills:
•/tVerbal and written communication skills, attention to detail,
and problem solving skills. Expert ability to work independently
and manage one time. •/tExpert leadership and mentoring skills
necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
•/tExpert knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (international
quality standard for human clinical trials) and local regulations.
•/tExpert knowledge of the information and techniques needed to
diagnose and treat human injuries and diseases. •/tExpert ability
to analyze data and accurately document and record results.
Education/Experience: •/tBachelor's degree in life sciences or
