Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Home Health Hospice for a travel nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Hospice - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/05/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 24 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2016.00 Opportunity: RN - Home Health Job Details: • Work weekend program every Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM • Provide hospice services in the field visiting patients in Milwaukee territory • This is not a case management position and does not carry a case load • Perform daily end of life visits, PRN visits for symptom management, and occasionally stable routine visits • Complete 5-6 visits per 8-hour shift/day • See patients in community settings including their homes, family member homes, assisted living facilities, group homes, nursing homes, and hospitals • Care for hospice patients/end of life with life expectancy 6 months or less • Common diagnoses are 40% cancer, 60% other medical issues • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required • Required certifications: BLS and state nursing license • Must have IV skills, chest tube maintenance/pleurex drain experience, catheter insertion capabilities • Experience with tube feedings, triage skills, wound care, wound vac required • Must be comfortable with PIV, midline, central line procedures • Competency with end of life care including pain and symptom management required • Experience with opioids and opioid equinalgesic table necessary • Documentation on EMR platform (EPIC Hyperspace/ClinDoc) required • Must be independent critical thinker/problem solver while knowing when to ask for help • Navy blue scrubs required • Orientation includes 1 day equipment pick-up, 2 days EPIC training, and 3-5 precepted shifts Facility: This hospice care organization provides comprehensive end-of-life services through both home-based field work and an 18-bed inpatient hospice facility. The organization operates across multiple territories and offers palliative sedation services at their inpatient facility. They maintain a hospice pharmacy benefit manager and delivery service, with support from hospice physicians, nurse educators, team leads, and preceptors to ensure quality patient care.
