Details - Gross Rate up to $3,195 per week - Department: Ascension Travel program - Cath Lab - Schedule: Multiple shifts available, 40 hours per week - Hospital: Multiple Ascension acute care hospitals - Location: Local and national travel options are available depending on need This position is a permanent, full time position made up of 8-13 week assignments - not a short term option or temporary contract. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. - Assess, prepare and position patients for procedures. Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary. - Prepare, implement and document plan of care. Communicate patient's condition to physician before, during and after procedures. - Perform and/or facilitates diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures. - Perform set up and provides equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s): - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. - Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Preferred Credential(s): - Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: - Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire Additional Preferences - RN with 2-3 years of Cath Lab experience strongly preferred. - Local and national travel options are available dependent on need.
