Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pediatric Respiratory Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/01/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2844.00 Opportunity: Pediatric Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM • 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week contract • Every other weekend rotation, occasionally every third weekend • Holiday rotation may be required if necessary • Primary assignment in PICU and NICU with potential float to general med/surg acute care units and EDTC • 3-5 years pediatric critical care or NICU experience required • Must be able to function in PICU and Level IV NICU environments • Required certifications: AHA BLS, AHA PALS, NRP, Wisconsin license, and NBRC RRT • Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred • Epic Clinical Documentation experience preferred • PICU experience required with expertise in various ventilators including Servo I and Servo U, LTVs, Astral and Trilogy, oscillators • Experience with trach patients, invasive and non-invasive ventilation, CPAP, BiPAP, RAM cannula, NAVA ventilation, PEP, INO • Manage respiratory care patients, ventilator management, intubations, extubations, suctioning, and treatments • Work in units including 24-bed pediatric cardiac ICU, 24-bed pediatric medical ICU, 24-bed pediatric surgical ICU, and 70-bed Level IV NICU • Professional scrubs required in any color • Single small nose stud permitted, flesh colored or clear plugs acceptable for other piercings • Flu vaccine required with no exemptions • 2-week notice termination policy based on census needs Facility: This pediatric healthcare facility specializes in comprehensive critical care services for children, featuring advanced units including pediatric cardiac, medical, and surgical ICUs along with a Level IV NICU.
