Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Respiratory Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2412.00 Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist Job Details: • Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required • First-time travelers accepted upon review • Patient population primarily includes geriatrics and adults, with some pediatric patients in the Emergency Department • Patient ratio of 1:1 • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CRT or RRT • Skills required include ventilator management, CPAP, BiPAP, nebulizer treatments, arterial line placement, intubation, ventilator weaning, extubation, and arterial blood gas analysis • Work with various ventilator types including AVEA vents, Servo U Vents, LPU 1200 vents, parapack vents for MRI, and Hamilton vents for transport • Use EPIC charting system and Pyxis medication dispensing system • Float within hospital to all units as needed • Minimum one shift orientation to learn workflow • Weekend rotation every other weekend • On-call requirements vary • Holiday expectations vary • Block scheduling will not be accommodated • Fatigue policy limits work to maximum 60 hours per week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts • Scrub color: any color acceptable except camouflage or denim • Free parking available Facility: This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center featuring 933 beds with Level III Trauma Center and Level III NICU designations.
