Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Milwaukee, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,900 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro/ENT Surgical Cases Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Evening Shift Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications: BLS, CNOR Preferred Must-Have: Must know robots. Strong proficiency in Neuro/ENT surgical cases. Must know how to scrub. Description: This position requires experience with Neuro and ENT surgical cases. Knowledge of spine surgeries including laminectomies, ALIFs, fusions, and discectomies is needed. Familiarity with cranial surgeries such as tumors, AVMs, aneurysms (not required), VP shunts, subdural procedures, and external ventricular drains is essential. Experience in ENT procedures including neck dissections with flaps, sinus surgery (Stealth Navigation), basic ENT (tonsils), and tympanoplasty is preferred. Experience with Medtronic navigation for cranial and spine procedures, as well as Stryker and Synaptive navigation for cranial surgeries, is valuable. Orthopedic experience with fractures, anterior hips, total joints, and orthopedic spine is also beneficial. Familiarity with various surgical specialties including general, vascular, laparoscopic, oncology, genitourinary, gynecology, and robotics is important. Candidates should be proficient in the use of surgical equipment such as the Hanna table. Charting will be completed using EPIC. Cross-training in general main OR specialties and urology is required. Candidates should expect variable scheduling with start times between 5:30 AM and 7:00 AM. There will be a call schedule with a 30-minute response time. No call rooms are available. Surgical scrubs will be provided, and scrub caps must be covered by surgical bouffants. Food options include a cafeteria and coffee shop on campus.
