be considered. An excellent opportunity is available for an
experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room
procedures to support surgical services in a well-established
hospital setting. This contract role offers a structured schedule
and the chance to work with a cohesive, skilled team in a
collaborative environment. Location:This position is based in
Glenview, IL, a vibrant suburb located approximately 28 miles north
of Chicago. Glenview offers a balanced lifestyle with suburban
comfort, access to cultural events, parks, and convenient
transportation options to and from the city. Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in the Operating
Room, specifically in ophthalmology and general surgery utilizing
the DaVinci robotic system. Collaborate effectively with surgical
teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. Maintain
proficiency in Epic electronic health records to document patient
care accurately. Participate in on-call rotations that include
weekdays and weekends, remaining within 30 minutes of the hospital
during call periods. Comply with hospital policies regarding
patient confidentiality, safety, and quality standards.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current Illinois Registered
Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of two years of experience, including
one completed travel nursing assignment. Demonstrated proficiency
with ophthalmology surgeries and DaVinci robotic-assisted general
surgery. Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Ability to fulfill on-call
requirements, being within 30 minutes of the hospital during
assigned shifts. Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30
PM (40 hours/week) Weekend on-call rotation. Additional
Requirements: Submission of credentials and necessary health
screenings within 90 days prior to assignment start. Flexible
orientation scheduling during weekdays. This contract engagement
lasts approximately eight weeks, providing an opportunity to expand
your surgical nursing expertise while benefiting from a supportive
